Junior Staff/CAD Drafter/Technologist

 

 

BAI is currently seeking  junior staff for immediate permanent positions. Applicants must have a background in architecture or engineering. Construction experience is also preferred.

 

Qualifications:

 

• A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or an associated field.

• 0-5 Years experience.

• Experience producing architectural or engineering construction drawings, knowledge of drafting standards and practices.

• Experience with AutoCad, Revit, Vectorworks, ArchiCad or similar commercial drafting software.

• Good verbal and writing skills.

• Familiarity with professional standards of communication including email and telephone etiquette.

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle.

• Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolds.

• Experience with word processing software is a plus.

• Construction experience.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Junior staff members will primarily be responsible for the production of construction documents under the direct supervision of senior staff. Junior staff members will also assist with field work, including fenestration testing and field investigations. Junior staff will receive on the job training for all duties. It is expected that Junior Staff will expand and take on new roles within the organization as the need arises.
